The most exalted Backgammon title on the planet is that of World Champion, an annual international tournament that has been held in Monte Carlo, Monaco since the late 1970s and previously in The Bahamas and Las Vegas.

On this page, you will find lists we have compiled showing the names of winners from major international backgammon tournaments and titles from around the world.

We include the latest list of the Giants of Backgammon international poll and lists of national champions from several countries where backgammon is popular.

In some cases a list will be missing data that we have yet to retrieve while in others, such as where dates are missing, it is likely the event was not held for one or more years.
